Our trips to Fehmarn
Fehmarn Gift Shop

Everything went well on that last day in Germany. We woke up early and re-packed our luggage, and only had 1 more piece for the return trip than we arrived with. It’s amazing how much you can squeeze into soft-sided luggage! After watching a little German TV, which are mostly U.S. sit coms, dubbed in German, we had a delightful breakfast buffet in the lobby dining area.

After loading the luggage in our little car, we actually found the Avis parking area at the Hamburg Airport on the first try. We checked in, shopped for an hour, and left on Delta Flt. #61 just after noontime.

We had the most wonderful trip to Germany
and it’s Small Island of Fehmarn.
The people that we have encountered on
Fehmarn and all over Germany
were so nice to us, even with the language difference.
Communicating was only a small problem,
which should never deter you from visiting
Fehmarn if you ever get a chance.
